The McNeela Red B/C Accordion

This is a 21 button, 2 voice accordion that’s been designed with beginners and students in mind. The 2 rows of buttons are tuned to B/C, with the outer row of buttons tuned to B and the inner ones to C.

This set-up makes all the notes on the chromatic scale available to you and allows you to play a wide variety of tunes in a number of keys.

B/C tuning to the most popular accordion tuning for traditional Irish music as it allows for a particularly flowing style of playing.

It’s built with Czech-made ‘Tipo a Mano’ reeds, as these reeds are particularly well suited for the sounds associated with Irish trad.

And it has large, smooth pearlescent buttons on a flat fingerboard with a thumb groove, and comes with adjustable hand and shoulder straps for added comfort.

This beautifully crafted, sturdy instrument is effortlessly responsive and is the perfect entry-level accordion for students of all levels.
