This tenor saxophone comes as part of our deluxe, premium set, which is aimed at students looking for a first saxophone that they can hold on to for that bit longer.

This saxophone is fitted with pads that are made for us in Italy, and have been modified to do an even better job of closing off the hole when you press down on it. They have also been strengthened so that they last longer.

While the body of the instrument has been modified and streamlined so that the air can travel effortlessly from the upper part of the saxophone to the lower. Which will improve the quality of the sound you generate and give that sound a tonal consistency.

And it comes as part of a set that includes a mouthpiece cover, neck strap, cork grease, 10 cane reeds (2.5 strength), a complete cleaning kit, comprising cloth, brush, and polishing gloves and a digital tuner, together with a handsome, padded protective bag.

This premium tenor saxophone set is available in a choice of 3 finishes, in the traditional gold, the antique, or the black nickel finish.

There are two main differences between an alto and a tenor saxophone: their size and tone. The alto sax is smaller and lighter, and is nearly always in the key of Eb, whereas the larger tenor sax is in the key of Bb.
