The Regondi English Folk Concertina

The Regondi Concertina is our premium, 30-button English Folk Concertina and is in the key of C.

It’s a compact, beautifully crafted instrument that can be used by players of all levels, but is particularly well suited for those at Intermediate level.

The difference between an English and the more common Anglo Concertina is that English concertinas play the same note, regardless of whether you’re pushing or pulling the bellows, whereas an Anglo plays different notes when you push, and then pull.

The Regondi now has an improved lever to bolster the traditional riveted action system, making it even more responsive.

While the classic 6-fold leather bellows provide flexibility and durability, and help to prevent side-ways flexing.

It’s built with Czech-made steel reeds which are particularly responsive and produce a strong, rich, melodic tone, with wonderful balance across the octaves.

With its quality matte black finish, this English concertina is a quality instrument at an affordable price.
