This Irish mandolin is a flat back, A-style mandolin, and features a spruce body with oval sound holes.

The oval holes that A-style mandolins have will usually have a warmer, more woody tone and produce greater sustain and resonance than F-style mandolins.

And traditionally, oval hole mandolins are more commonly associated with Irish trad and folk music, whereas F hole mandolins are more usually found in bluegrass.

With an upgraded build and design, this A-Style Irish Mandolin has a better sound, a slimmer neck, a beautifully crafted finish, and is all around easier than ever to play and enjoy.
