Why quality counts:
Why quality counts:
“A beginner flute should be a good and capable instrument in its own right. Anything less and the beginner will give up.” - TheSession.org
We know that students who use low-quality instruments will be more likely to stop practising, or even worse, quit altogether. Thats why we only provide the highest standard of instruments, as we know lesser quality instruments would be doing a disservice to you, and may hinder you from achieving your goals.
Experience the magic of the Tony Dixon Tenor/Flute/Low Whistle firsthand! We invite you to visit us at our showroom located in the Baldoyle Industrial Estate in Dublin. Here, you'll have the opportunity to test this versatile instrument for yourself, feeling its quality and experiencing its unique sound.
We understand the importance of finding the right musical instrument, one that not only meets your expectations but also inspires you. That's why we offer a no-risk trial. If, for any reason, you find that the whistle does not completely satisfy your musical needs, we provide a straightforward, hassle-free guarantee: you can return it within 30 days for a full refund.

TB022 Duo-Head Low D Flute & Whistle (TB022) by Tony Dixon
It’s a fun whistle, especially as a first low whistle outside your high whistles. As a whistle it works well, it definitely not the usual sound profile instead of deep but bright, it’s more of a low, droning and vibrating tone.
For me it’s a fun tone to play, different though. Listen to the video.
The flute head is fun little activity, it takes a fair bit of learning to get a consistent tone but it’s a nice bonus for practicing for embrochure for flutes.
This is using the older larger finger spacing, pipers or alternative grip is needed.
