This famous design gives this instrument an unparalleled tonal range and an impressively big and booming sound.

It’s made from African blackwood, which is a dense, dark hardwood that produces a rich and woody sound, and is famously weather-resistant.

It has a squared, ellipse embouchure with a smaller aperture as this gives you a brighter sound and makes it easier to fill.
