Product highlights

Plug In & Play

With the McNeela Electric Violin, volume is never a problem. Play loud by plugging into a speaker, or practice silently using headphones — ideal if you’re worried about noise complaints or practicing at odd hours. Electric violins are quieter than even a muted acoustic violin, making them a useful practice tool for players of all levels.

“Thankfully we found this violin and it is fantastic.”

Playing Made Easy

It’s actually easier to get a good sound on an electric violin. These violins typically need less bow pressure, as the strings respond differently than on an acoustic model. The EQ controls let you tweak your tone easily, and the design supports smooth playing. Just remember to practice on your acoustic too if you're planning to play both — it helps maintain strong technique.

“Thanks for providing a quality instrument at an affordable price!”

Electrifying Audio

Electric violins offer huge potential for creativity. Use loop pedals, effects, reverb, or distortion to explore new sounds and styles — from rock and pop to dance and electronica. Of course, you can still enjoy playing classical or traditional Irish music too. This instrument lets you go in any direction.

“This electric violin is absolutely beautiful! Great craftmanship!”
