Tuning You Can Control

Keeping your mandolin’s 8 strings well in tune is an important part of enjoying its full musical character.

The Premium F-Style features machine tuners for precise tuning adjustments, giving you control as you bring each pair of strings into tune. Whether you're preparing for practice or getting ready to play with friends, these practical components help you focus on finding the sound you're after.

One Mandolin, Many Traditions

You might spend Friday evening playing Irish tunes with friends and Saturday exploring a bluegrass favourite. Why should your mandolin feel limited to just one side of your musical personality?

The Premium F-Style brings classic mandolin construction to a wide range of musical settings. Its eight strings, arranged in four familiar GDAE courses, make it a natural choice for Irish traditional melodies, while its F-style design feels equally at home in bluegrass, country, and folk music.

Let Every Note Ring

There's a special satisfaction in hearing a melody continue to sing after you've picked the strings. It's particularly rewarding when you're playing slower passages or giving a favourite tune your own expressive phrasing.

The brass tailpiece is designed to enhance sustain, helping notes ring with character. Paired with the ebony bridge, it's part of a carefully chosen collection of components intended to make every musical phrase enjoyable. It’s part of what makes this one of our best-performing mandolins ever.

A Finish With Character

An instrument you love is one you'll want to reach for again and again. And while sound and playability always come first, there's real pleasure in owning a mandolin that looks as good as it feels.

The satin mahogany-toned finish gives this Premium F-Style a warm, understated appearance, beautifully complementing its distinctive scroll and traditional sound holes. It's an elegant alternative to brighter finishes, with a character that suits a serious musician's collection.

Think this is the right mandolin for you?
