Confidence from the First Strum

The Renegade’s smooth rosewood fingerboard and quality D'Addario strings give unbeatable playability and responsive action, making it ideal for first-time players. It has a beautiful finish and solid build, so you won't have to fight the finicky parts or unknown rattles that can plague other beginner banjos.

Whether it’s your first instrument or you’ve been playing a while, you’ll start building confidence from the moment you pick it up.

Playability that Makes Practice Easy

The neck, fingerboard, and strings are designed to work together and keep you comfortable during practice sessions. Fingerpicking a slow air at home or strumming along with friends, you'll love how simple it is to learn quickly and keep at it.

Why It Sounds So Warm

The mahogany resonator and Remo head work together to produce a mellow, full-bodied tone with just the right amount of brightness. A quality resonator projects your sound outward, making it perfect for sessions, performances, and jam rooms. Every note rings out clearly.

Built for Bluegrass and Beyond

The Renegade gives you the classic 5-string sound, without the usual guesswork that comes with buying your first banjo.

Its resonator body gives more volume and presence, while the smooth neck and balanced feel make it easier to practise for longer. Whether you’re learning bluegrass rolls, old-time tunes, folk songs, or your first session pieces, it gives you enough room to keep improving.

With 20mm padded sides for added protection, comfortable back straps for hands-free transport, and a dedicated accessories pocket for tuners, capos, and essentials, it’s a reliable and practical companion for any banjo player on the move.
