Sporting a luscious deep sea green colour, our new Green Wave Bodhrán’s wave shape design makes this instrument effortless to play while having a beautifully resonant and full tone. It has our own 8-point hand tuning system for smooth tuning, alongside our signature vellum goatskin which offers a great deal of versatility in the tones it can play. The outer rim is constructed from a high grade leather and features a series of intricate harp designs engraved on the rim.

Bodhrán Skins

Each of our bodhrán skins are completely and entirely sustainable sourced. We have carried out many different studies to judge the quality of our bodhráns and they’ve all been incredibly positive in outlining the quality of our skins.

The difference in sound between poorly made bodhráns and professionally made ones can be staggeringly wide. If the curing of the skin is done incorrectly through mistreatment or chemicals, the sound will ultimately be destroyed. That’s why we take great pride in conditioning and treating our goatskins very carefully to make sure that we get the best sound possible.

The Tuning System

Our 8-point hand tuning system has been widely acclaimed and successful from its ease of use and high quality tuners to make tuning our bodhráns a very smooth process. One of the biggest benefits of our tuners is that they allow you to adjust the tension of the bodhrán to make sure it’s unaffected by temperature or humidity, which are the common obstacles that most bodhráns struggle to overcome.
