Our new Wooden Melodeon is ideal for accordion enthusiasts looking for an instrument that produces its own distinctive sound.

It's a 10-button, single row melodeon with 4 registers (or voices); for Low, Middle (x2) and High.

A single row melodeon only plays in the key that it’s tuned in, whereas a two row accordion can play in more than one key. So the melodeon is that bit easier to master.

The most important factor with these kinds of instruments is the quality of the reeds they have, and we use specifically commissioned Czech-made reeds.

These hand-crafted reeds produce a sound that’s particularly well suited for traditional Irish music, with strong, clear tones and plenty of volume.

The handsome, cherrywood frame comes in a natural finish with soft, round edges, and the grille is decorated with intricate fretwork to further enhance its look and feel.

This is the perfect specialist instrument for players of all levels.
