Enda Scahill's comes from a deep tradition of Irish Music in East Galway on Ireland's Western shores. A mutiple All-Ireland Banjo and Mandolin Champion, he has been at the forefront of Irish banjo playing for many years.

Enda has toured and recorded with many great Irish musicians down through the years and his solo album 'Pick It Up' was highly acclaimed. Since then he has toured and recorded with the Brock McGuire Band featuring Paul Brock and Manus McGuire. More recently he collaborated with Paul Brock to produce the first ever recording of banjo and melodeon music on their album 'Humdinger', which was awarded Traditional Album of the year by the Irish Times.

Now living in Galway City, Enda has been teaching banjo for over 15 years in workshops and master classes in Ireland and around the world. Over this time he has researched and developed a structured method of banjo playing that is failsafe in its simplicity.

This book outlines in fine detail this method and is the first ever fully comprehensive banjo tutorial published.
