This beautifully crafted instrument is made from carefully selected, quality tonewoods, and is built with a spruce body and mahogany back and sides.

All our Irish bouzoukis are built with a floating bridge, as this makes it easier for you to adjust the string height and fine-tune its tone.

And a floating bridge is one of the things that gives a bouzouki its distinctive, biting sound.

Irish Vs Greek Bouzoukis

There are 3 main differences between Irish and Greek bouzoukis: the shape of the body, the number of frets, and the tuning. Irish bouzoukis have a shallow, flat back with just 24 frets, and pairs of strings tuned in unison to GDAE or GDAD. Greek ones have a larger, rounded back, around 27 frets, and are tuned to octave intervals with the standard tuning of CFAD.
