The Morning Thrush is the newest album released by the traditional Irish duo Conor Arkins and Paul Clesham. This album is a collection of twelve sections of Irish tunes spanning from famous jigs, reels, hornpipes, and more. Not only that, but some of the tunes picked are well known tracks such as “An Phlásog Ghlas”, “The Shaskeen”, “The Humours of Lissadell” and a wide range of others.

With Conor on violin, Paul on concertina and reinforced by guitar and piano accompaniments, the duo crafts a rich, authentic sound. For lovers of traditional Irish music, "The Morning Thrush" is a perfect album for you!

About the Duo:

During their music studies at University College Cork, Conor and Paul began to regularly play music together. As time passed, their residence, ‘Woodbine Lodge’ on Glasheen Road, turned into a favorite spot for fellow musicians to play. These tracks are a tribute to their shared musical journey so far.
