Lon Dubh Polymer Irish Flute

“Great tone, excellent volume, robust and durable.” - Charles O.

Low stress and easy to pick up, the Lon Dubh is the perfect next step for players moving beyond the whistle or beginner flute. Designed for traditional Irish music, it delivers a rich, resonant tone and strong low D, all in a body that’s virtually maintenance-free.

Made from Delrin, a dense, high-grade polymer, the Lon Dubh offers all the durability you need for regular travel, outdoor playing, and varied climates. Whether you’re heading to a session in the pub, picking it up in your living room, or out at a summer festival, this flute stays in tune and plays beautifully.

Its conical bore and smaller embouchure make it easier to fill, helping you get that big, authentic trad sound without overblowing. You’ll feel the difference right away, with a clearer tone, faster response, and more confidence every time you play.

Special Offer: Order today and receive a FREE premium flute case (your choice of foam-lined or elegant wood), a FREE Wild Irish Whistle, and FREE Worldwide Priority Shipping.

Bonus: You’ll have everything you need to start playing with 5 months of free access to our exclusive Beginner and Intermediate Irish Flute Masterclass with Tom Doorley.
